ONE WEEK!!!

Josh called me and SURPRISE he's already in Germany! :D I was expecting him to be in Kuwait, but I guess he snuck his way onto earlier flights. That means only one more week before my baby comes home. YAY!

We are going to watch a movie and relax. We've been going since 7am. We had to take my friend Kevin to the hospital for a shoulder surgery... then pick him up. I washed the car really really well, did some laundry, dishes. Noah only was able to get a 1hr nap in because we had to go back to the hospital. I haven't been sleeping well for about a week now (gee I wonder why... anticipation, maybe? haha). Maybe we'll take a nice nap on the couch together :)

Though I have been depressed, life is trudging on. I had my 7mo baby appointment and everything is right on track. I'm 28wks and 5 days along. My belly is a whopping 29cm. I didn't get any guff about losing a little weight. My blood pressure wasn't high this time. My sugar test came back normal. I've got a little sciatica so the doc gave me some stretches to try out. Enough Planning, More Doing

I've been researching, reading about, diving into, writing about, and thinking about building confidence and self-trust for about 8 years now. It's time to get more intentional and active about it. I think I'm ready to move into that phase finally. I have a tendency to take in information and keep mulling it over, writing and expounding upon this that and the other, but now it's time for an actual plan. An action plan. I understand the problem as much as I can from the outside looking in. Now it's time to create learning opportunities: to make mistakes and deal with the consequences or to achieve something and deal with the praise. That's the next phase of learning... doing . So today I am creating a specific list of tasks that I have to do in the months ahead that specifically target insecurities and seek to force me to deal with the reality of those insecurities.
