Prayer Request

Anyone who happens to read this please pray for my Aunt Vita and our family. She was diagnosed with peritoneum cancer not too long ago, which is very aggressive. After surgery and some unpleasant chemotherapy the cancer came back. She's undergoing even more chemo... stronger and a higher dose now. She has 3 grown children and one new granddaughter. My Mom is heading out there right now to help out. My aunts are all very very close and everyone is having a difficult time dealing with this news. They lost their mother to cancer, which makes everything especially hard to handle.

I'm still holding out for a miracle otherwise I would have posted this when it first happened. Either that or I'm in denial. I don't know what I would categorize it as. Please pray, send some positive energy our way, light a candle, meditate, or do whatever your version of prayer may be. We need you!

I'm sorry to hear about your aunt. I don't know why things like this happens, but I guess they happen for a reason. I do hope things get better. I will be sending my positive energy her way. Keep us updated.

I'll be praying for her Allie. Mark & I know how hard this all is on a person from seeing Mark's Dad go through it. He is a fighter and is proving everyday that people can live through this. I hope this next round of Chemo takes the cancer out and I hope that she is able to keep her spirits up. It think that is so important. That is wonderful that you Mom can be a support to her right now.

Though I have been depressed, life is trudging on. I had my 7mo baby appointment and everything is right on track. I'm 28wks and 5 days along. My belly is a whopping 29cm. I didn't get any guff about losing a little weight. My blood pressure wasn't high this time. My sugar test came back normal. I've got a little sciatica so the doc gave me some stretches to try out. Enough Planning, More Doing

I've been researching, reading about, diving into, writing about, and thinking about building confidence and self-trust for about 8 years now. It's time to get more intentional and active about it. I think I'm ready to move into that phase finally. I have a tendency to take in information and keep mulling it over, writing and expounding upon this that and the other, but now it's time for an actual plan. An action plan. I understand the problem as much as I can from the outside looking in. Now it's time to create learning opportunities: to make mistakes and deal with the consequences or to achieve something and deal with the praise. That's the next phase of learning... doing . So today I am creating a specific list of tasks that I have to do in the months ahead that specifically target insecurities and seek to force me to deal with the reality of those insecurities.
